    At The very creative firm, we're looking for an experienced finance manager who has experience with the finances of mid-large (event) production agencies.

    If you are very passionate about numbers and love optimizing finances in an agency, you are the person we are looking for


    Who we are:
    We, The very creative firm, specialize in large-scale live shows & events, video productions & commercials.

    With live shows & events you should think of corporate events/launches for clients like Fisker, Snowflake, BMW, Louis Vuitton, Smartsheet, etc.

    but we also produce shows for many clients from Insomniac (EDC, Escape:
    Psycho Circus, Countdown, etc.) to the Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce and everything in between.
    This role reports to the CEO. You work in collaboration with internal partners such as project managers, creative producers, etc. making sure that the appropriate support & information is there for you to do your job.


    Role Description:
    This is a part-time hybrid role as a Finance Manager. The Finance Manager will be responsible for the financial health of the company.


    General Summary:
    The Finance Managers' primary responsibility will be to be the strategic sparring partner to the CEO.


    We expect you to analyze and flag/inform the CEO when financial performance vs goals is off track and plans need to be adjusted.

    You will generate monthly reports (P&L etc.), schedule review meetings with the CEO and leadership team, plan and oversee cash flow on a daily/weekly basis, be responsible for optimizing the internal finance reporting structure, etc.

    This position requires a high level of independence, business acumen, and strong financial knowledge.

    Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
    Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.
    Develop trends and projections for the firms finances.
    Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
    Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
    Manage the preparation of the companys budget.
    Oversee the management of Quickbooks, , and ramp transactions & receipts.
    Oversee AR & AP
    Oversee the company's cash-flow document
    Review project budget sheet and administration process


    Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting
    3-5 years experience as a Finance Manager
    Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns.
    Ability to work well within deadlines
    Detailed-oriented, strategic, and excellent organizational, communication, and timeline skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
    True self-starter

    be proactive and move initiatives forward with limited guidance.
    Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment. A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.

    Team player who is flexible and willing to adapt and take on diverse roles as needed to support the team and achieve collective success.

    Proficiency in Quickbooks, , Ramp, Google programs, Slack, and experience with or similar project management tools are preferred.
    All legal permits and visas required to work in the U.S


    Duration:
    Starting as soon as available


    Part-time:
    3 days a week of which one is in West Hollywood at the office.
