PAY RATE:
$16.62 HOURLY (Pay is negotiable based on experience)

Hours vary for this position, but primarily fall between 5:00AM and 1:00PM, with some nights/Sunday evenings.

Coordinates and oversees all areas of food service kitchen, one-year volunteers and short-term volunteers serving in kitchen while showing hospitality to guests.

Hosting, facilitating, and cooking for mission groups, WorkFest, YouthFest, retreats, and other CAP functions as needed.

Coordinates incoming short-term kitchen volunteers, and one-year volunteers serving as cooks/hosts while creating a fun and engaging atmosphere to foster a love for serving in the kitchen (creating a pipeline of volunteers needed to serve larger groups (i.e. Fests).

Coordinates scheduling/maintenance work orders, and space utilization for assigned location, serves as Safety Monitor for assigned building.


Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent

3 or more years of successful experience or the combination of education and experience.

Posses a Valid Kentucky Driver's License and Maintain a Safe Driving Record

CAP Driving Certification (or ability to obtain)

Non-Contagious TB Test Result

CPR and First Aid (or ability to obtain)

Food Handler Certification


Physical Requirements

Ability to reach, push, pull, bend, stoop, stand, walk

Lift 48 lbs. from the floor and carry 40 ft., and place on a shelf at 36 inches.

Lift 18 lbs. from floor to shelf at 102 inches, using a step ladder if needed.

Push with 45 lbs. of force for 5 ft.

Lifts/moves items with unknown weight or that are awkward shapes and sizes with assistance

Have good visual acuity with corrective lenses

Have good hearing capabilities
