    The Human Resources Director is responsible for managing recruitment, compensation, benefit programs, learning and development, employee relations, legal compliance and regulatory reporting.

    Responsibilities

    Manage all aspects of human resource operations including payroll system management, training, employee relations, and benefit programs.
    Support business leaders through managing the talent management process, including recruitment, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and career development.
    Ensure legal compliance of company policies and practices, benefits, leave programs, etc.
    Assist employees and managers in the interpretation and application of policies and procedures.
    Assist managers with coaching and counseling situations and employment separation, as needed.
    Assist employees with completing benefit claim forms.
    Manage employee fleet vehicle program.
    Manage and assess employee testing modules for ongoing improvement.
    Manage corporate office manager and receptionist/admin positions.
    Investigate employee issues and conflicts and bring them to resolution.
    Partners with management on value added strategic priorities such as employee culture initiatives, employee surveys, etc.
    Manage all employee engagement activities and events.

    Stay current on trends in compensation and benefits; research and propose competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.

    Maintain knowledge of trends and best practices in human resources.
    Perform other functions and special projects, as assigned.

    Requirements

    Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship building.
    Excellent organization and follow-through skills.
    Demonstrated experience managing employee and benefit plan records.
    Ability and desire to work collaboratively with key business stakeholders.
    Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive issues.
    Demonstrate solid judgment and highly ethical behavior.
    Ability to build trust with a broad range of stakeholders
    Strong knowledge of federal and state labor and employment law.
    Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite or related software, payroll/HRIS systems, and basic data analysis.
    High energy level, self-starter with a positive, customer-centric attitude.
    Proven ability to navigate through ambiguity within a dynamic environment.
    Small amount of travel may be required.

    Education And Experience

    Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
    A minimum of 5 to 10 years of human resource management experience preferred.
    Professional HR certification (i.e., SHRM-CP) highly desired.
