Job Summary
The Behavioral Health Specialist I (BHS I) provides care and safety to children and adolescents as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team. The BHS I inputs into the formulation of the day-to-day schedule and structure of a therapeutic milieu, implements, observes, and documents this program under the direction of a Registered Nurse.Responsibilities
- Participates in maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment.
- Maintains appropriate boundaries.
- Suggests revisions based on observations for milieu care plan in collaboration with assigned RN.
