We're seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (Acute Care) to join our team at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides evaluation services, including review of historical information and performance of specific assessments, with clear documentation of results. Explains findings and treatment plan to patient and family, incorporating them in goals setting.

• Demonstrates proficiency in implementation of treatment protocols based on evaluation findings, patient presentation, and evolving healthcare environment. Consults with other healthcare professionals as indicated. Recognizes changes in patient condition requiring modification of plan or need for medical/rehabilitation consultation.

• Completes accurate discharge planning and follow-up care. Documents all patient care activities timely considering the evolving health care environment

• Demonstrates effective time management meeting productivity expectations. Manages an accurate schedule while providing frictionless access to care through flexibility adaptability creativity empathy
