Job summary
We are seeking an LPN for our Memory Care unit at United Methodist Communities in Camden County NJThe LPN is responsible for rendering professional nursing care to residents while exercising good judgment and respecting confidential matters.
Responsibilities include assisting with medication administration notifying physicians and/or responsible party of any change in resident health and providing proper documentation assist residents analyze obtained information record signs of change in condition notify appropriate staff per facility protocol monitor certified nursing/medication assistants accurately and promptly transcribe orders into EMR provide nursing care according to physician s orders and in conformance with recognized nursing techniques procedures established standards policies recognize interpret symptoms report resident s condition complete assessment/reassessment service plan conjunction residents family personal care assistants/m edication aides other necessary individuals assist coordination move-in orients new residents facility assists coordination move-outs coordinates staff alternative settings chart nurses notes informative descriptive manner complete accident/incident reports as necessary policies procedures counts narcotics beginning end shift signs count exchanges keys medication carts room end shift
