Why We Need You:

Our Practice Coach is looking for someone like you to bring your exceptional skills and experience with you and join us as our newest Optician at our optometric practice in Mountain View, CA.As an Optician, you will be responsible for the retail and repair of eyewear products as well as follow-up care.

Join us in advancing eye health and enhancing the lives of our patients in a dynamic and rewarding environment.
This a permanent full-time position working 30-40 hours per week. Our clinic is open Tuesday through Saturday. Availability to work Saturdays is required.


What Will You Be Doing?:
Educating clients about the best eyewear choices for their lifestyle, ensuring they receive the best in value and qualityInforming patients about advances in corrective eyewear solutions as well as assisting with the selection of frames to suit your client's aesthetic and performance needsInterpreting optical prescriptions as written by an optometristPerforming frame and facial measurements to ensure correct fit and positioning of new eyewear and performing repairs and adjustments to returning patients'Submitting prescription eyewear requisitions to our manufacturing labContributing to store retail sales goalsUpholding excellent customer service standards using your charisma and problem-solving skills with patients face to face, over the phone or by email What Do You Bring?:Minimum one years' experience in an optical environmentA strong sales mentalityPrevious experience in a customer-facing, preferably retail environment preferredAble to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentA professional and approachable manner and a love of meeting and interacting with peopleCommitted to excelling as a member of a high performing teamA high level of comfort using technology and computers with solid proficiency in MS Office SuiteA track record of learning new systems and processesSpanish language fluency is a definite asset Salary: $27-30 per hour based on experience COVID-19 considerations:Our healthcare facility is following all regional and Optometric Association recommended guidelines for COVID precautions

Education:
