Job summary
The CRNA is responsible for administering anesthesia and preparing prescribed solutions following the center's appropriate methods and procedures.- Demonstrate knowledge and skill requirements regarding his/her role in the Safety Management Program (Safety/Security), Infection Control, Hazardous Materials, Emergency Preparedness, Life Safety, Medical Equipment and Utility Systems
- Perform pre and post-anesthesia patient visits
- Clinical Responsibilities: Pre-anesthesia assessment Requesting laboratory/diagnostic studies General anesthesia and adjuvant drugs Regional anesthesia techniques Intravenous therapy Sedation techniques Cardiopulmonary resuscitation management Invasive and noninvasive monitoring Airway management techniques Mechanical ventilation/oxygen therapy Fluid electrolyte acid-base management Blood blood products plasma expanders Peripheral intravenous arterial catheter placement Central venous catheter placement Pulmonary artery catheter placement Acute chronic pain therapy Post anesthesia care discharge
