    Job Purpose

    Responsible for the design, implementation, and coordination of all Quality Management System programs for the assigned division. The primary function of this position is to establish and maintain quality surveillance programs in accordance with contract requirements, standards, and best practices.

    Job Duties

    • Responsible for leading 3-5 QA Managers daily; primary location responsibility includes: Independence, Hudson, WI Engineering, Hudson, WI Wire shop, Omaha, Louisville, KY, Jacksonville, and will interface with Signal Italy and Signal Germany
    • Troubleshoot issues and provide recommendations for resolutions
    • Manage QMS to ensure facility and operations comply to standards
    • Monitor daily QMS operations and communicate with key stakeholders regarding quality
    • Work with design team to implement corrective actions and improve process and overall product
    • Coordinate with supplier team to manage quality and responsible for vendor communication
    • Work with program teams to complete product launches on schedule
    • Regular interaction with customer and maintain customer issues log
    • Contribute and assist in the development of Quality Control plan

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree in Engineering or Associates degree in Engineering discipline
    • 5 years of experience in Quality Management
    • Proven experience as Quality Manager in an ISO or equivalent certified company
    • Experience in leading Continuous Improvement Process (Teams)
    • Experience working with internal and external customers
    • Statistical analysis and quality assurance skills
    • Must be proficient with computers and have a working knowledge of spreadsheets, database, statistics, and word processing
    • Must be able to implement and maintain a strong continuous improvement and internal audit program designed to increase Quality Awareness throughout the division
    • 10-35% travel
