- Responsible for leading 3-5 QA Managers daily; primary location responsibility includes: Independence, Hudson, WI Engineering, Hudson, WI Wire shop, Omaha, Louisville, KY, Jacksonville, and will interface with Signal Italy and Signal Germany
- Troubleshoot issues and provide recommendations for resolutions
- Manage QMS to ensure facility and operations comply to standards
- Monitor daily QMS operations and communicate with key stakeholders regarding quality
- Work with design team to implement corrective actions and improve process and overall product
- Coordinate with supplier team to manage quality and responsible for vendor communication
- Work with program teams to complete product launches on schedule
- Regular interaction with customer and maintain customer issues log
- Contribute and assist in the development of Quality Control plan
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or Associates degree in Engineering discipline
- 5 years of experience in Quality Management
- Proven experience as Quality Manager in an ISO or equivalent certified company
- Experience in leading Continuous Improvement Process (Teams)
- Experience working with internal and external customers
- Statistical analysis and quality assurance skills
- Must be proficient with computers and have a working knowledge of spreadsheets, database, statistics, and word processing
- Must be able to implement and maintain a strong continuous improvement and internal audit program designed to increase Quality Awareness throughout the division
- 10-35% travel
