    Description

    Quality Control Specialist at The Steel Network, Inc.

    The Steel Network, Inc (TSN) is a prominent national manufacturer specialized in light steel framing building products.     Position Overview:

    • Conduct receiving inspections and spot checks on steel materials
    • Perform flatbed and LTL shipping inspections
    • Create reports and log product tracking information

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Inspect incoming materials, parts, and orders
    • Monitor processes and ensure calibration of measurement devices
    • Document nonconformities and support investigations
    • Prepare certification reports and maintain safety standards

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • Proficiency in mathematics and fractions
    • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
    • Self-motivated and able to work independently or in teams
    • Experience with Microsoft Office and steel framing practices
    • High School Degree or Equivalent

    Experience and Education:

    • Experience with measuring devices and metal forming equipment
    • Ability to read product drawings and understand metal forming capabilities
    • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills

    Work Schedule: First Shift, Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM with overtime potential
