    Description
    Provide anesthesia care to a wide variety of patients from pre-term neonates to geriatrics.

    Familiar with the use of anesthesia machines and related equipment, assist in transport of patients, maintain adequate patient records, participate in the teaching activities of the department, participate in a variety of continuing education program, and demonstrate a high level of professionalism in the performance of duties.

    Provide resuscitative care as indicated.

    Minimum Training and Education:

    Must be a registered nurse with current license to practice and official recognition as a CRNA in the State of South Carolina.

    , a graduate of an AANA approved program of anesthesia for nurses, and certified (or eligible for certification) by the Council on Certification with current re-certification as appropriate.

    Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.


    Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations:

    Must be a registered nurse with current license to practice and official recognition as a CRNA in the State of South Carolina.
