    Principal/Senior Principal

    Program Planning & Scheduling Analysts


    to join us in the pursuit of top-tier program performance on Low Rate Initial Production and Full Rate Production Advanced Weapon Programs.

    The positions are based out of based out of Northridge, CA and will report to the Business unit Scheduling Manager over Advanced Weapons.

    This role is fast paced and demanding. It will require a high level of work ethic and strategic adaptability. This role will be responsible for the development, organization, and status of program schedule execution. They are also accountable for Program schedule performance reporting, analysis, and compliance.
    This role will be responsible for implementing data driven analytics into effective program performance outcomes .

    Candidates for this position will demonstrate a broad and deep skill set that is balanced across leadership, collaboration, innovation, communication, project management, risk/opportunity management, business acumen, and proposal-based capabilities.

    Responsibilities and essential functions include, but are not limited to:
    Prepares, develops, and coordinates the integrated master plan and integrated master schedule to meet all program objectives
    Ensures major projects and program schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality
    Work with the finance, planning, and business management teams to develop strategies to improve financial performance based on schedule analysis and metrics
    Support the development of presentations for, and occasionally brief to,

    Division/Sector/Corporate

    leadership
    Interface with business, program, and corporate

    personnel
    Tracks plans and schedules, performs risk analysis, identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts
    Calculation and tracking of material related metrics
    Interface with Supply Chain, Planners, and Buyers to ensure up to date forecasts and maintain accuracy
    Prepare reports and provide recommendations to program management teams
    Implement and maintain Earned Value Management System (EVMS) compliance including cost/schedule/technical integration
    Utilizes Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas
    Analyze schedule for critical path, recognizing implications of changes and assists in the development and incorporation of work-around plans into the schedule when change is required
    Work with the Capture Lead, Proposal Manager, and core teams to develop the compliant proposal and supporting deliverables
    Provide support to the proposal team by developing, reviewing, and submitting proposals that effectively represent the proposal strategy and baseline

    Basic Qualifications for Level 3:
    Bachelor's degree with 6 years of Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Data Science, and/or Aerospace and Defense Business-related experience, or a Master's degree with 4 years of stated Aerospace and Defense Business experience
    Extensive knowledge of establishing program IMPs, schedules, and baselines at award for execution cost and compliance
    Extensive knowledge and recent Working experience with Department of Defense ACAT programs to implement and execute Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
    Working knowledge of EVMS Software (i.e. Cobra), Microsoft Project, Power BI, Project Server, Microsoft Office Suite, and Cost Accounting principles
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
    Knowledge of DCMA health metrics
    Prior experience in the Aerospace & Defense industry manufacturing environment
    Ability to obtain Interim or Active DoD Secret Security Clearance

    Basic Qualifications for Level 4:
    Bachelor's degree with 10 years of Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Data Science, and/or Aerospace and Defense Business-related experience, or a Master's degree with 8 years of stated Aerospace and Defense Business experience
    Extensive knowledge of establishing program IMPs, schedules, and baselines at award for execution cost and compliance
    Extensive knowledge and recent Working experience with Department of Defense ACAT programs to implement and execute Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
    Working knowledge of EVMS Software (i.e. Cobra), Microsoft Project, Power BI, Project Server, Microsoft Office Suite, and Cost Accounting principles

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Experience with CostPoint, IBM Cognos software (or another similar software), database

    software
    Experience interfacing with customers or government audit agencies such as DCMA and DCAA, as well as Internal Audit
    Self-motivated, yet functions well in a team environment
    Excellent oral and written communication skills and a keen attention to detail
    Experience supporting competitive and sole source proposals with values greater than $250M
    Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS
    Experience in Schedule Risk Assessments (SRA), Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) and DCMA Joint Surveillance Reviews (JSRs)

    Salary Range:
    $97,500 - $146,300


    Salary Range 2:
    $120,900 - $181,300

    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

    Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.

    In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
