Job Posting: Full-Time BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) in Orange, NJ

Blazer Jobs is currently seeking an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a full-time contract position in Orange, NJ. We are conducting interviews for this school-based role and require candidates to meet all local and state regulations, including holding a master's degree in school/educational psychology, behavior, special education, or a similar field. Additionally, candidates must possess a National BCBA certification and an active BCBA state teaching license. Experience working with special education students and families is highly preferred.

Job Duties:

1. Behavioral Assessments: Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments to identify student strengths, needs, and areas for improvement. Use assessment data to develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students.
2. Behavioral Intervention: Implement evidence-based behavior interventions and strategies to support students in improving their social, emotional, and behavioral skills. Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure consistency and effectiveness of interventions.
3. Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze data on student behavior to track progress toward behavioral goals and objectives. Use data analysis to make data-driven decisions and adjustments to intervention strategies as needed.
4. Consultation and Collaboration: Provide consultation and training to teachers, paraprofessionals, and other school staff on effective behavior management techniques and strategies. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support student success in the school environment.
5. Progress Monitoring: Regularly monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behavior intervention plans. Conduct ongoing assessments to measure progress and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.
