Hardware Engineer – Power Supply (eInfochips Inc)


Job Description:

What You'll Be Doing:
Lead the hardware electronics design and development process for aerospace projects.
Design and implement high-reliability electronic systems, including PCBs, embedded systems, and power electronics.
Conduct component selection, schematic design, and PCB layout to meet aerospace standards and requirements.
Coordinate with layout engineers to oversee PCB layout activities.
Perform detailed analysis, simulation, thermal management and testing of electronic circuits and systems.
Capture and analyze requirements for power supply design projects.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues during development and testing phases.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including DO-254 and DO-178C.Utilize knowledge of DO-160/ MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-1275, MIL-STD-461 Qualification tests to ensure hardware compliance with aerospace testing standards.

Proficiency in tools and software for PCB design (e.g., DxDesigner, Mentor Graphics, CR5000).Conduct lab testing, including designing test equipment and writing/executing test procedures/scripts for engineering.

Check out/DVT and production sublevel testing.

What We Are Looking For:
Power supply design, including magnetics design, EMI filter design.

Knowledge of EMI/EMC and Military power requirements such as MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-1275, MIL-STD-461.Thermal management of power components and various topologies, both isolated and non-isolated with 10 KW +.Work experience of 8+ years is required for this role.

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:
$ 103, $140,300.00

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.

The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
