    NIRA, a fast-growing women-owned small business, is in search of a Java Developer to support the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of a major federal agency in realizing their vision of establishing an IT process factory.

    This role is designed to streamline the provision and ordering of enterprise IT services, aligning with the Everything-as-a-Service (XaaS) model.


    Responsibilities:
    Work with agency stakeholders to document existing IT processes using Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN).
    Prototype business process automation solutions using technologies such as Business Process Management Systems (BPMS) and Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
    Prototype solutions for Information Technology Service Management (ITSM).
    Collaborate closely with customers to convert their mission needs into practical software solutions


    Required Skills:
    3+ years of experience in software development using Java.
    Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, XML.
    Experience with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
    Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Programming


    Desired Skills:
    Experience in User Experience and User Interface Design.
    Experience with BPMN, BPMS, RPA, or workflow solutions.
    Experience of DevSecOps principles and tools.
    Understanding of Java frameworks such as Spring.
    Excellent communication skills


    Education Requirements:
    Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
