Job Summary
We are hiring energetic and team-oriented individuals to join our transportation team as a full-time Driver (DOT - CDL). As a representative of our fleet, you will deliver products from Fastenal Distribution Centers to branches and customer on-site locations. You will operate a safe and well-maintained tractor trailer or straight truck with pre-loaded freight. Responsibilities include utilizing a handheld scanner, unloading product by hand or pallet jack/forklift, providing excellent service to branches and customers in prompt efficient manner interacting shipping receiving departments maintaining cleanliness organization work area inspecting reporting defects issues equipment complying DOT safety regulations health sustainability rules expectations participating activities programs company achieves objectives learning passing practicing environmental health safety trainings- Possess Commercial Drivers License
- Possess current Health Card OR have ability obtain one
- Demonstrate strong working knowledge DOT regulations regards CDL Driver maintain regulated Drivers Hours-Service willingness drive interstate routes state lines demonstrate core values ambition innovation integrity teamwork lift up lbs maneuver lbs successfully complete required DOT drug alcohol screens road test employment verification background check Prior driving experience operating forklift preferred
