    SUMMARY :


    The Test Automation Engineer is responsible to perform software use cases, evaluate our software products to assess quality as new features are built, and to assist our national mortgage/appraisal industry clients.

    In collaboration with the development team, the will answer phone calls and emails from a variety of clients to resolve their issues or assist in user training.

    This position will focus mostly on our Appraisal FirewallX platform.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
    Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases and frameworks to validate software application functionality.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop effective automation strategies.
    Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines ensuring that every build is fully tested.
    Work with various stakeholders to ensure test automation aligns with the agile development process and meets business requirements.
    Analyze test results, troubleshoot, and report defects in a timely manner.
    Perform unit and regression testing across various browsers, devices, and environments.
    Maintain up-to-date knowledge of test automation trends and best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
    Provide guidance and support to other team members in automation techniques.
    Proactively identify issues within projects and suggest improvements to processes and workflows.
    Position Requirements


    QUALIFICATIONS:

    EDUCATION AND/


    OR EXPERIENCE:

    • 1+ year of customer service experience, as well as experience translating technical information to non-technical users is required. QA experience a plus.
    • Practical experience with an automated system and web applications helpful. Knowledge of the Mortgage Industry and the details of processing loan applications a plus.
    KNOWLEDGE,


    SKILLS AND COMPETENTCIES:
    Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in test automation with a focus on unit and regression testing.
    Proficient with modern test automation tools, such as Selenium, TestNG, Junit, Cucumber, Appium, or similar frameworks.
    Experience with programming languages relevant to test automation, such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
