- Demonstrated potential to establish and lead a cutting-edge independent research program focused on reproductive aging and women's health
- Proven leadership and mentorship experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with broad audiences
- Ability to foster collaborative research within the Institute and across the reproductive science, women's health, and aging research communities
- Prior experience in senescence-related research and multiomics approaches strongly preferred
This is a full-time, exempt faculty position. Salary will be commensurate with rank, qualifications, experience, and funding profile. Anticipated annual salary ranges are:
- Assistant Professor: $130,000 - $190,000
- Associate Professor: $160,000 - $260,000

ABOUT US
At the Buck, we aim to end the threat of age-related diseases for this and future generations by bringing together the most capable and passionate scientists from a broad range of disciplines to understand and improve the way in which we age. Our Center for Healthy Aging in Women focuses on understanding the mechanisms underlying female-specific aging processes and translating discoveries into interventions that enhance health span.
The Buck Institute is globally recognized for pioneering research in aging biology. Faculty in the Center for Healthy Aging in Women work in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment, leveraging expertise in cellular aging, senescence, metabolism, and reproductive biology to advance women's health across the lifespan.
We are an equal opportunity employer and strive to create an atmosphere where diversity of identity, experience, and background is welcomed, valued, and supported. Candidates who contribute to this diversity are strongly encouraged to apply.
