    Job Responsibilities


    The Website CMS Analyst is responsible for optimizing the college's Content Management System to support the website's designers, editors, contributors, and end users.

    The analyst provides technical solutions to information delivery, system optimization, training, and ease-of-use problems.

    Minimum and Additional Requirements
    This position requires a high school diploma and experience in computer system development and modification. A bachelor's degree in a related area may be substituted for the required work experience.
    Preferred Qualifications
    The preferred candidate will have a working knowledge of website deployment using a Content Management System.

    Candidates with experience using layout languages such as XML, HTML, or CSS and scripting languages such as Velocity or JavaScript are also preferred.

    Effective communication is a key requirement for this role.

    The candidate should be able to articulate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner, making them easily understandable to others.

    Experience in developing and maintaining back-end user interfaces and utilizing vendor-supplied APIs is a plus. Employee must work independently with a minimum of supervision. Must have the ability to work under pressure and prioritize work assignments. Successful candidate must be an organized problem solver willing to help other team members accomplish their objectives. Must be able to both give and receive constructive feedback in a professional manner.
