We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Billing Representative III (Offshore).Under general direction the Billing Representative III performs advanced billing and financial clearance functions including claims management,
court cases resolution insurance authorizations precertifications patient cost estimates.
- Perform billing tasks assigned by management which may include data entry claim review charge review accounts receivable follow-up other related responsibilities.
- Provide input on system edits processes policies billing procedures ensure maximization revenues.
- Perform daily tasks assigned work queues manager assignments identify payer provider credentialing coding issues address them management adhere workflows provided training classes request additional training needed utilize CBO Pathways guide determining actions needed resolve unpaid incorrectly paid claims authorizing procedures using payer websites billing system information within expected timeframe review reports identify revenue opportunities unpaid claims delays obtaining authorizations financial clearance communicate providers patients coders responsible persons ensure correctly processed third party payers work operational policies regulatory requirements participate workgroups meetings attend required training classes escalate issues management maintain confidentiality read apply policies make appropriate decisions coordinate functions work cooperatively others assist other billing representatives difficult escalated issues assist department supervisor special projects staff training appeal complex denials review payer policies coding contracts medical records utilize subject matter experts cross cover areas office assigned management including Accounts Receivable Denials Customer Service Authorizations other related duties assigned
