    Description
    Responsible for directing the front office and clinical functions across multiple physician practices.

    Supervises staff performing revenue cycle activities ensuring daily adherence to policies regarding scheduling, pre-registration, registration, charge capture, point of service payments, insurance verification, financial counseling and quality monitoring.

    Plans and coordinates daily facility operations to ensure functionality of the building, as required.

    Proactively assists with waiting room management , general tidiness, and facility issuesCoordinates activities and collaborates with others to improve processes as required by the Practice AdministratorInterfaces and coordinates activities related to human resources, finance, patient accounts, information systems and telecommunications ensuring effective and efficient delivery of services.

    Understands and applies the basic principles of financial operations, human resource management, information management and team building.
    Analyzes revenue-related and productivity information and identifies trends and takes action to improve performance. Manages accounting and financial control systems.
    Works in collaboration with the Practice Administrator to manage financial resources to meet budget expectations. Able to explain and justify variances from budgetProactively responds to safety, security issues/incidents, and disaster management.

    Ensures patients are informed of procedures and delays, answering questions, offering assistance, and other services that the patients may require.

    Ensures wait time communication occurs to patients in waiting room.

    Achieves AMG customer service targets by personally providing superior customer service and by supervising staff interactions with internal and external customers (patients and co-workers) in a professional and courteous manner.

    Adheres, supports and embodies AMG's Customer Service Commitment to ExcellenceResponsible for monitoring and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and policies and procedures related to area of responsibility.

    Conducts regular staff meetings and fosters staff's active participation in hospital and AMG events.
    Works to stimulate teamwork and a positive attitude among staff members.
    Maintains appropriate records and statistics for management reporting.
    May have additional department specific duties as necessary.
    Education RequirementsBachelor's Degree preferred.
    Experience RequirementsFour (4) years healthcare experience, including one (1) year supervisory or lead experience.#J-18808-Ljbffr
