Job summary
This position provides water safety and rescue services via continual surveillance and patrol of the Boulder Reservoir lake, shoreline, and surrounding areas.Responsibilities
- Operates lake patrol vessels and assets including powered watercraft, jet skis, trucks, and gators in an efficient reliable safe manner during day night operations often in variable weather conditions.
- Lifeguarding Instructor certification American Red Cross certification for Lifeguarding First Aid CPR AED for Professional Rescuer Administering Emergency Oxygen Waterfront Lifeguarding certification successful completion prior to start date Boat U.S Foundation Boating Safety certification Colorado successful completion within ninety days start date six months related experience such as park ranger EMT military law enforcement required Education Experience Current American Red Cross certification Lifeguarding First Aid CPR AED Professional Rescuer Administering Emergency Oxygen Current American Red Cross certification Waterfront Lifeguarding Successful completion prior start date Current Boat U.S Foundation Boating Safety Certification Colorado Successful completion within ninety days start date Six months related experience park ranger EMT military law enforcement preferred Qualifications Bilingual English Spanish Seniority level Entry level Employment type Part time Job function Other Industries Government Administration
