    Overview

    The Box Truck Driver drives a company box truck to pick up and deliver laundry to hotel and institutional clients and supports laundry production at our Lynn facility. This position requires attention to detail, safety awareness, and teamwork to ensure quality service from start to finish.

    Responsibilities

    Delivery Duties
    • Operate 16', 20', or 26' box trucks to pick up and deliver hotel and commercial laundry.
    • Safely navigate Boston metro routes and maintain accurate delivery schedules.
    • Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding deliveries, delays, or issues.
    • Lead or assist with inventory counts at customer sites.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicle and loading areas.

    Laundry Production Duties
    • Assist in washing, drying, folding, pressing, or sorting laundry when not driving.
    • Follow established procedures for equipment operation and quality standards.
    • Collaborate closely with laundry and delivery team members to ensure seamless workflow.
    • Record all work completed in the company's tracking system.

    El/la Asociado/a de Lavandería y Entrega cumple una función doble: conducir las vans de la empresa para recoger y entregar ropa a los clientes, y apoyar las operaciones dentro de la planta de lavandería. Este puesto es ideal para personas activas, trabajadoras en equipo y que se enorgullecen de hacer un trabajo de calidad.

    Responsabilidades

    Funciones de Entrega:
    Cargar, descargar y entregar ropa limpia o sucia utilizando una van de la empresa.

    Seguir las rutas programadas y asegurar entregas y recogidas puntuales.

    Representar a Wash Cycle Laundry de forma profesional y respetuosa frente a los clientes.

    Reportar retrasos, problemas con el vehículo o comentarios de clientes al supervisor.

    Funciones de lavandería:
    Trabajar en equipo para procesar ropa: clasificar, lavar, secar, doblar y planchar según los estándares de calidad.

    Mantener el área de trabajo limpia y organizada.

    Cumplir con los procedimientos de seguridad y las normas de operación de la empresa.

    Registrar el trabajo realizado en el sistema digital interno.

    Requisitos

    • Experience driving 16'–26' box trucks required.
    • CDL preferred but not required.
    • Eligibility to obtain a Massport badge preferred.
    • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods.
    • Strong communication, following instructions and customer service skills.
    • Proficiency with smartphones, mapping apps, and basic computer systems.
    • Bilingual (Spanish/English or Portuguese/English) a plus.
