    Job Description

    American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department night shift position in Texas requiring at least one year of recent ER experience and relevant certifications.

    Responsibilities

    • Position is in the Emergency Department within a hospital setting
    • Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
    • 13-week travel assignment
    • Care for a diverse emergency patient population
    • Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care for patients with a wide range of acute conditions
    • Collaborate as part of a skilled multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment
    • Certifications must be valid and not set to expire within 30 days of assignment start
    • Holiday and weekend coverage may be required as scheduled
    • Travel RNs must meet all documentation and reference check requirements

    Requirements

    • Active TX or compact RN license required
    • Minimum of one year of recent Emergency Department experience
    • Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or ARC required
    • PALS certification required
    • NIH Stroke Certification required
    • Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or equivalent certification required for ER
    • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification required for ER
    • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the last 12 months
    • Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius; local candidates not accepted
