    As an NPI Buyer, you will be a part of our Manufacturing Systems Design group within Operations, supporting Engineering, Manufacturing, and various business units across different locations with new product development initiatives.

    Your role will involve consistent engagement with engineering and project management within a dynamic R&D setting to select suppliers, comprehend and source Bill of Materials (BOM) requirements, communicate supply constraints, report statuses, address issues, and facilitate logistics.

    Your ability to collaborate with project and operations leaders, hardware engineers, commodity management, and team members while setting up global supply chains is essential.

    The role demands procurement and material knowledge to manage internal manufacturing complexity and product development through external contract manufacturers. As an NPI Buyer, your agility to learn, adapt, share, and grow with changing information is crucial.

    Key Responsibilities:
    ·

    Determine the best supply base for efficient material flow.
    ·

    Collaborate with the design team to minimize supplier risk.
    ·

    Place Purchase Orders to meet immediate material needs and prepare for product launch.
    ·

    Manage project BOMs and engineering changes to reduce obsolete inventory and ensure continuous supply.
    ·

    Drive improvement of systems and processes.
    ·

    Evaluate bids, grant contracts, and develop new supply sources.
    ·

    Support the onboarding and training of new suppliers.
    ·

    Maintain operational partnerships with suppliers and act as the primary point of contact.

    Qualifications:
    ·

    Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Logistics, or related field. CPIM, APICS, and ISM training is a plus.
    ·

    Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing, electronics, material procurement, and inventory management.
    ·

    Proficiency in MRP/ERP systems with a solid understanding of manufacturing, BOMs, and supply chain principles.
    ·

    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    ·

    Proven skills in supplier development and management.
    ·

    Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills.
    Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment.

    Everett, WA:

    The salary range for this position is $99,015 - $183,885

    This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.
    Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to:

    job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location.

    The Total Rewards package includes competitive base pay and an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and several programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.
