    12-hour rotating shifts (varied start times: 5a-5p, 7a-7p, 9a-9p, 10a-10p, 11a-11p, 1p-1a)

    Estimated Weekly Salary:
    $2410-$2580


    Weekend Requirement:
    Every other weekend


    Holiday Requirement:
    1 major holiday


    Orientation:
    2 ED shifts (24 hours total) plus 1 shift with Educator (4-6 hours)


    Documentation:
    Epic EMR (Epic experience required)

    Registered Nurse Qualifications

    Active California RN license

    Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience

    Prior travel nursing assignment preferred, or significant ED experience with ability to transition quickly

    Current certifications:
    BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA) or ENPC, NIH Stroke Scale

    Epic EMR experience (must be clearly stated in work history)

    Superior professional references required

    Preferred:
    CEN, TNCC, 3-5 years of
    ER experience, trauma and pediatric experience

    ER Nurse Responsibilities

    Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in a busy Emergency Department (average daily census patients)

    Perform triage, assessments, and interventions for patients with diagnoses including STEMI, stroke, trauma, falls, and syncope

    Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers,
    ER techs, respiratory therapists, and case managers to ensure excellent clinical support

    Utilize critical thinking and strong clinical skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment

    Accurately and efficiently document patient care using Epic EMR

    Maintain professional appearance and adhere to infection control policies

    Contribute to unit teamwork, a positive work culture, and nursing excellence
