- Provide support in various engineering tasks related to the AN/BYG-1 Submarine Combat Control System
- Support systems engineering activities with specialized expertise
- Assist in testing, evaluations, validations, and verifications of the AN/BYG-1 Combat Control System
- Participate in the disassembly, reassembly, installation, and testing of the AN/BYG-1 Submarine Combat Control System
- Contribute to Engineering Change Instructions (ECI's)
- Develop technical data for Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS), technical manuals, troubleshooting procedures, drawing updates, operation procedures, and maintainability improvements
- Interact directly with customers on-site for equipment/systems installation, testing, survey, fabrication, and other engineering tasks
- Ensure compliance with engineering documentation standards, plans, system specifications, and test procedures
- Review change proposals for equipment impacts
- U.S. Citizenship
- Ability to maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Level Security Clearance
- Hands-on experience in configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing computer networking equipment, Windows Servers, and Workstations
- Self-motivation, strong work ethic, commitment to quality and teamwork
- A thirst for learning
- Ability to travel up to 10%
- Technical (Military/Trade) school/training beyond high school and a minimum of 5 years of job-related experience

We are currently in need of a skilled AN/BYG-1 Submarine Combat Control System Engineering Technician to contribute to ongoing submarine modernization projects. This is a full-time position located in Groton, CT.
