Technician, Quality Lab - Columbia

Job summary

The Laboratory Technician will perform routine lab and micro analysis on raw materials samples, product samples both in-process and finished to ensure quality specifications are sustained.

Responsibilities

• Learn understand processes throughout the facility to better assist with troubleshooting determining root cause isolating dispositioning holds.
• Assist in managing non-conforming products to ensure they are not released without further analysis Quality Manager approval
• Prioritize work in fast-paced environment to limit downtime keep operations moving manage laboratory inventory participate HACCP Food Safety Program ensure product integrity food safety operate maintain lab equipment instrumentation calibration control charts equipment properly assist brewery batching packaging departments troubleshoot resolve issues maintaining highest level accuracy
