Job Summary:

Village Caregiving - Bowling Green is seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide quality care to our clients in Owensboro, KY.

This is a part-time, hourly healthcare/medical position and the caregiver will work as an individual contributor.

The role will require the caregiver to visit clients' homes in Owensboro, KY and assist them with daily activities, personal care, and companionship.

The caregiver will play a vital role in promoting the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist with medication reminders and administer medication according to client's care plan
• Prepare and serve meals based on dietary restrictions and preferences
• Accompany clients to appointments and community events
• Engage in meaningful conversation and activities with clients to promote mental stimulation and companionship
• Keep accurate records of care provided and report any changes or concerns to the supervisor
• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for clients
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain confidentiality of client information

Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Minimum of 1year experience as a caregiver or similar role
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Compassionate and patient demeanor
