This is a hybrid position, supporting clients on site in Gaithersburg, Maryland 3-days a week.


About The Role:

As a Senior Project Manager at MustardSeed, you will be entrusted with overseeing end-to-end project delivery within specified timeframes, budgets, and quality standards.

As a highly experienced and successful project manager already, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes, steering multidisciplinary teams towards common goals.

With the authority to drive significant business transformation, you'll play a pivotal role in refining operational practices and fostering a culture of excellence.

You will facilitate a wide variety of different projects while maintaining a focus on project management best practices and stakeholder satisfaction.

Previous projects our team has facilitated include but are not limited to creating a robust integrated master schedule (IMS) for an upcoming clinical trial, identifying, and eliminating bottlenecks in a new product introduction (NPI) process, completing a transformative overhaul of a client's product lifecycle management (PLM) process, ensuring the successful delivery of a newly acquired software, overhauling a client's supply chain management (SCM) practices.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Ensure that communication within and between organizations involved in the various phases is occurring effectively, and that management and other stakeholders are kept informed of progress, as necessary.

Define project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.

Continuously assess program risks as they are encountered and evaluate trade-offs between cost, time, quality, risk, and ultimately benefit, continuously managing the business cases of constituent projects and workstreams.

Understand, assess, and embed the right delivery methodologies, considering the project and business constraints.

Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress while managing changes to project scope, project schedule, and project cost.

Utilize appropriate Program Management Best Practices throughout the project duration.
Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis.
Develop and execute appropriate change and engagement plans to achieve necessary behavior changes in order to maximize benefits.
Align expectations and ensure that the decision-making of stakeholders happens in a timely and effective manner.


Skills Required:
Proven track record of delivery with at least 5+ years in a project management role.
Ability to think strategically and tactically about product, technical, and cross-functional issues.
Excellent client-facing and internal verbal and written communication skills.
High-caliber organizational skills (e.g., attention to detail, multitasking, etc.).
Demonstrated strong leadership and motivational skills including the ability to inspire and lead throughout all levels of the organization.

Strong ability to build and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus, and achieve objectives.

Project Management Professional (PMP) / Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
