- Salesforce CRM Expertise
- Act as an internal and client-facing Salesforce SME, showcasing extensive knowledge of:
- Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Manufacturing Cloud, CPQ & Billing, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud & integration.
- Translate Salesforce capabilities into actionable, manufacturing-specific business value and ROI cases.
- Utilize your established network within Salesforce to accelerate co-selling initiatives.
- Collaborate with Salesforce account executives to craft aligned territory plans and strategies.
- Market Expansion & Opportunity Identification
- Conduct in-depth market analysis to uncover emerging trends and digital adoption patterns in the manufacturing industry.
- Build relationships with C-suite executives and key stakeholders driving digital transformation.
- Develop targeted account penetration plans for major manufacturers and large enterprises.
- Position Huron as a trusted advisor through insightful industry analysis and tailored solution recommendations.
- Relationship Management & Account Leadership
- Foster and enhance long-term client relationships, ensuring a remarkable client experience throughout the engagement process.
- Create account strategies that align with the specific needs and objectives of clients in the manufacturing sector.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver and exceed client expectations.
- Represent Huron at industry events and partner forums.
- Proposal, Contracting & Deal Structuring
- Drive proposal development, RFP responses, and value proposition design with cross-functional support.
- Create compelling business cases and pricing structures that satisfy client needs and profitability goals.
- Negotiate favorable terms and contracts with enterprise clients that align with organizational objectives.
- 5+ years of experience in business development or strategic growth within the manufacturing industry.
- Consistent track record of achieving $10M+ in annual bookings.
- Experience in selling Salesforce solutions or enterprise SaaS technologies to large manufacturers.
- Proven success in managing executive-level sales cycles.
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce CRM digital capabilities and related technologies.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operational processes and digital integration.
- Familiarity with the broader digital ecosystem and integration points with Salesforce.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and executive-level communication skills.
- Adept at consultative selling with a solution-focused approach.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams toward complex opportunities.
- A high degree of professionalism, self-direction, and accountability.
- Established relationships within Salesforce Manufacturing Cloud and Industry Alliances.
- Previous experience with a Salesforce consulting partner or manufacturing technology provider.
- Bachelor's or Master's in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
