Find your future with us.Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Manufacturing Manager (Level K) to join in Oklahoma City, OK on first shift, but can be required to support other shifts based on business needs.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines. Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies. Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):3+ year of experience in an aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environmentExperience in leadership either formally or informally leading teams in a cross-functional environmentExperience with Conflict Management and Conflict Resolution3+ years of experience and proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint and the ability to learn in house systemsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):3+ years of experience using LEAN Manufacturing and/or Continuous Improvement practices and tools in the workplace3+ years of experience mentoring, coaching, guiding and leading teams3+ years of experience presenting and communicating data in Senior Leadership briefings
