- Provide consistent supervision for patients outside treatment sessions, monitoring behaviors and conversations during meal times.
- Document observations in patient case files and complete necessary forms as directed by the Patient Support Supervisor.
- Facilitate educational sessions and ensure the secure storage and monitoring of medication for patients.
- Report patient injuries and critical incidents following ASAC policies.
- Conduct patient urinalyses per agency protocols.
- Provide transportation for patients to meetings, appointments, and medical treatments.
- Assist patients with on-site activities and transport them to off-site recreational areas according to the treatment schedule.
- Collaborate with the Facilities Manager to maintain an orderly facility by overseeing tasks such as room cleaning, trash disposal, and monitoring security systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
- High school diploma required; AA or Professional Certificate preferred.
- Valid Iowa driver's license.
- Minimum one year of experience in a residential environment.
- Proficiency in using standard office equipment and computer systems.
- Demonstrated skills in independent judgment, communication, human relations, teamwork, and organization.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods as needed for the role.
