- Coordination and supervision of the day-to-day operations of a small medical clinic for both front reception and back office medical assistants.
- Supervision of patient appointment scheduling, registration, insurance verification, data entry, patient payment collections, referrals and authorizations, etc.
- Management and knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and other regulatory State, Federal, and local regulations related to medical clinics.
- Knowledge of inventory control; maintaining medical supplies, equipment and other inventory, supplier contract negotiations,
- Development, implementation and mgmt. of medical clinic Policies and Procedures.
- Knowledge, and experience training and coordinating programs such as EMR Audits P4P, Wellness Physicals, CCM etc.,
- Knowledge and experience with all aspects of medical service billing and collections, health insurances, federal and state health programs, IPAs, HMOs and PPOs
- HR Labor Law knowledge pertaining to the State of California experience in hiring, training, and terminations, employee performance supervision and reviews.
- Skills in using Health Care software and computer systems, EPIC exp a plus
