Job summary
We are seeking a Heavy-Duty Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Heavy-Duty Mechanic at CATA you will be working with a team of dedicated employees who are committed to providing excellent service to all of our staff and customers.The position requires flexibility, the aptitude to follow direction and the capability to perform a variety of physical, work-related tasks. Some pertinent responsibilities of the position include inspecting and repairing transit coaches and automobiles,
performing preventive maintenance services per manufacturer's specs,
diagnosing and repairing brake systems engine transmission rear differential electrical air system failures,
cummins insite diagnostic experience desired relines brakes repairs or replaces alternators air conditioning components,
prepares work orders documents performs body work patching sanding painting buffing conducts road tests goes on road calls repair retrieve disabled vehicles
- Inspects vehicles for physical damages mechanical shortcomings
- Performs tune-ups on cng gasoline engines
- Diagnostics repairs brake systems engine transmission rear differential electrical air system failures
