- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Prepare operating rooms and assist with surgical equipment setup, instrumentation, and sterilization.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and responses to anesthesia and surgical interventions, intervening as needed to maintain stability.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding surgical procedures, postoperative care, and recovery.
- Adhere to established protocols, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and patient safety guidelines.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Utah.
- Experience working in an operating room (OR) setting.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; CNOR certification preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach to care.
