Hello! As Program Manager at Cal Alumni Association you will join our team to foster a culture that celebrates diversity creates a sense of belonging advances equity.

This role will lead pre-departure briefings serve as primary faculty liaison create distribute analyze post-trip evaluations enter update tours trip components reservations database manage HelloSign reservation templates perform other duties assigned including cross-office coverage during staff travel build maintain relationships alumni chapters campus partners give presentations support program awareness growth manage oversee program elements connect travelers local alumni trips while advance notice typically provided there may occasions requiring last-minute travel cover Cal Ambassador Lecturer becomes unavailable The position reports Senior Director Cal Discoveries Key Responsibilities Traveler Services Program Operations Shared Responsibility Answer phones messages emails provide customer service travelers inquiring trips Maintain accuracy integrity database data entry reservations brochure requests tour components inventory Enter update traveler tour vendor records reservations system Execute passenger correspondence confirmations final documents brochure fulfillment promotional mailings Manage past traveler coding campus alumni database Verify CAA membership status Maintain email voicemail out office alerts messages Order organize distribute office tour supplies Faculty Lecturer Program Enrichment Leadership Primary Responsibility Research recruit assign onboard manage faculty lecturers subject-matter experts Maintain database subject matter experts relation region academic interest personal experience Secure replacement lecturers event last-minute cancellations Lead pre-trip faculty departure briefings serve primary faculty liaison General program support Lead guest-facing pre-departure briefings pre-trip calls Create distribute analyze post-trip evaluations Enter update tours trip components reservations database Create manage HelloSign reservation templates form inventory within paid limit Lead planning execution annual Cal Discoveries travel reception Support Cal Discoveries broader CAA events Perform other duties assigned including cross-office coverage during staff travel Program Growth Engagement resources allow Build maintain relationships alumni chapters campus partners give presentations support program awareness growth Manage oversee program elements connect travelers local alumni trips valid passport required without restrictions ability travel internationally needed ability lift suitcase push pull lift up 50 lbs Must submit Consumer Report Motor Vehicle FBI/DOJ fingerprint background investigations UC Berkeley alum familiarity UC Berkeley the Cal Alumni Association Pay Benefits This position classified at-will full-time exempt position pay range $70000-80000 annualized This position eligible participate healthcare benefits retirement plan company match offer great work-life balance opportunities generous vacation holiday time-off benefits CAA staff while University California employees eligible many UC Berkeley staff programs professional development networking opportunities discounts on-campus We have friendly professional environment pride ourselves team approach Location Work Schedule Position located Alumni House in Berkeley CA on UC Berkeley campus Work hours align traditional business hours provide real-time customer service support Role follows hybrid schedule line with job duties business needs some days onsite some days remote week Must able willing work occasional evenings weekends support CAA campus events Please note remote work must performed state California Travel Expectations The Program Manager must able willing travel domestically internationally serve Cal Ambassador 1-2 Cal Discoveries trips year While advance notice typically provided there may occasions requiring last-minute travel cover for a
