Occupational Therapist (OT) Position in Washington, MO

WHO WE ARE

Based in St. Louis, MO, Therapy Relief at Hope has been dedicated to providing a range of services for individuals for more than three decades, including speech-language therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, behavior therapy, and music therapy. Our team of therapists promotes continuous learning, development, and success in a nurturing environment.

JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Director of Therapy Relief at Hope, the Occupational Therapist will deliver and supervise occupational therapy treatments focused on enhancing fine motor skills, cognitive perceptual skills, visual-motor coordination, visual-spatial processing, and daily self-care activities. This role will be based at our Therapy Relief center in St. Louis, MO.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Assess individuals' performance and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create, implement, and assess treatment plans and therapeutic tools.
Create occupational therapy treatment plans with short- and long-term goals based on assessments.
Suggest or create adaptive equipment for daily living requirements, including communication aids.
Maintain detailed records, prepare progress reports, and treatment plans, documenting therapy types and outcome evaluations.
Provide support and education to parents, teachers, and caregivers.
Engage in treatment sessions, team meetings, and professional development activities.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

Master's degree from an accredited occupational therapy school.
Active Missouri license as a registered Occupational Therapist.
Proficiency in using personal computers and software applications.
