Job description
Deschutes Brewery is hiring for a full-time prep cook at our Portland pub We are a fun, full-service kitchen that delivers high quality food, beer and experiences to our guests and staff.
We are looking for new co-owners who are driven, excel in a fast-paced kitchen, and are committed to the highest standards of quality and presentation with a guest first focus.
Previous experience with scratch recipes in a full-service kitchen and knife skills are important for this role. Must have weekend availabilityWhat You'll Be Doing
Preparing food following standardized recipes, following proper food preparation, rotation, storage and handling procedures
Maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment
Utilizing tools appropriately and following Standard Operating Procedures to ensure proper portions, minimize waste, and ensure food safety
Requirements Of The Position
Previous cooking experience, preferably in a fast-paced kitchen
Basic knife skills
Scratch cooking knowledge
Weekend availability
