Job Description Job Description Job DescriptionA growing MEPF Consulting Engineering Firm, primarily focused on services related to building analysis, design, and construction administration services, is expanding into the Omaha area and we are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer.

The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for performing and/or overseeing all aspects of electrical systems design for our projects.

Oversight of other electrical engineering personnel is expected to be a key role for this position.

The ideal candidate is expected to take a leadership role within the firm, and will also work directly with clients, performing both technical engineering and project management roles.

Responsibilities and Duties :
Management and oversight of electrical department staffDesign and analysis of electrical power distribution systemsDesign and analysis of lighting systemsDesign and analysis of low-voltage systems (fire alarm, communications, security, public address, etc.)

Calculations related to electrical systemsUse of electrical systems design softwareProduction of electrical drawings and specificationsReview of submittals from contractorsResponse to contractor questionsQualifications and Skills:
Licensed Professional Engineer in the States of Iowa and/or NebraskaMinimum of five years' experience designing electrical systems for buildingsExperience with design of power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systemsExperience with design software packages ( Revit and electrical design software )
