    Job DescriptionUnder the direction of a category manager, the Category Manager Intern will assist in developing new products, conducting market research to understand end-user trends, coordinating launch materials, and updating/proofing websites for accuracy.

    The intern will work closely and build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders across the business. This internship will be full-time during the summer and part-time during the school year. The intern will work a hybrid schedule with 3 days per week in office.
    ResponsibilitiesAssist product managers with the development of new products, including line extensionsPrepare margin analysis, competitive pricing information, and other financial analysis as neededCollect and present financial analysis of product lines to identify opportunities to improve margin or recommend SKU rationalizationHelp with end-of-life SKU rationalization efforts; phase-out documentation where needed for product life cycle managementConduct market research to understand end-user trends and preferences, product line gaps versus competition, and emerging technologiesCoordinate launch materials under direction of product managers and channel marketing services specialistPack and ship launch kitsAssist with new item setup data collection to accelerate on-boarding new product to customer websitesSupport the development and proofing of product marketing materials and messagingDevelop video, image and product description content in addition to webtools to facilitate a positive shopping experienceUpdate and proof websites for accuracy, facilitating changes with appropriate parties as neededQualificationsPursuing a bachelors degree in Business Administration; minimum sophomore standing and GPA of 3.0 or higherAbility to commute 3 days per week to the Oak Creek, WI officeYear
    • Round Availability (summer 40 hours/week; school year preferred 20 hours/week depending on class schedule)Concentration and/or interest in marketing is preferredAbility to effectively manage competing priorities and timelines in a dynamic work environmentStrong organization and analytical skills with keen attention to detailExcellent collaboration and communication (written, verbal, and visual) skillsProficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
