    Position: Sr. Technical Assistant

    Department: PARCS - MOAH: Cedar

    Classification: Temporary; Up to 18 hours a week

    Salary Range: $ $30.70 Hourly

    Non - Exempt – Overtime Eligible

    Job Summary:

    Under general supervision, provides oversight for special programs at the Cedar Center for the Arts and MOAH:CEDAR galleries. This role will be responsible for leading a small team of art program leaders in the development of exhibitions, special projects, and public programming.

    Leadership Responsibilities:

    May oversee Art Program Leaders.

    Example of Duties & Responsibilities:

    Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Work closely with MOAH:CEDAR's Arts and Culture Coordinator to implement and facilitate MOAH:CEDAR's exhibitions and programming
  • Work closely with MOAH:CEDAR's coordinator to support MOAH's curatorial objectives, including artist interfacing, registration, condition reports, and art handling.
  • Assist Arts and Culture Coordinator in interfacing with artists and other community stakeholders to facilitate innovative public programs
  • Oversee a small team of 6 to 9 staff members and their regular roster of MOAH:CEDAR programs
  • Assist Arts and Culture Coordinator with various administrative tasks including scheduling, communications, emails, and marketing
  • Assist in training incoming members of the MOAH:CEDAR team
  • Assist in evaluating MOAH:CEDAR's current roster of programs
