As they continue to expand their operations, they are seeking a strategic and experienced Vice President of Procurement to lead their procurement function and drive excellence in supply chain management.

    Role Overview:


    As the Vice President of Procurement, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the company's procurement strategy to support its manufacturing operations.

    Reporting directly to the executive leadership team, you will lead a high-performing procurement team and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to optimize sourcing, drive cost efficiencies, and ensure supply chain resilience.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Strategic Procurement Leadership:


    Develop and execute a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with the company's business objectives, focusing on cost reduction, quality improvement, and supplier relationship management.

    Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes, optimize supplier selection, and mitigate supply chain risks.
    Provide leadership and guidance to the procurement team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.

    Cultivate strategic partnerships with key suppliers, negotiating favorable terms, pricing agreements, and service level agreements to optimize value and minimize risk.

    Implement supplier performance measurement frameworks, conduct regular performance reviews, and drive improvements in supplier quality, delivery, and reliability.

    Supply Chain Optimization:


    Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, logistics, and quality assurance, to streamline supply chain processes and ensure seamless integration of procurement activities.

    Lead initiatives to optimize inventory management, demand forecasting, and production planning, balancing supply and demand to meet business objectives effectively.


    Compliance and Risk Management:
    Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and ethical procurement practices, maintaining the highest standards of integrity and transparency.

    Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including geopolitical, environmental, and operational risks, to safeguard continuity of supply and minimize disruptions.


    Financial Management and Reporting:
    Develop and manage procurement budgets, monitor spending, and drive cost-saving initiatives to achieve financial targets and maximize profitability.

    Provide regular reporting and analysis to senior leadership, presenting key procurement metrics, performance indicators, and strategic recommendations to inform decision-making.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

    Proven experience in procurement leadership roles within the manufacturing industry, with a track record of driving strategic initiatives and delivering measurable results.

    Deep expertise in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management, with a thorough understanding of procurement best practices and industry trends.

    Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams, foster collaboration, and drive a culture of continuous improvement.

    Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization and build strong relationships internally and externally.

    Analytical mindset, with the ability to leverage data and insights to drive informed decision-making, identify opportunities for optimization, and mitigate risks effectively.
