Job summary
Student Nurse Practicums are coordinated with the University and the School District. Student Nurse Practicum placements are for those University and College students who are working toward a nursing degree. Student nurses are paired with school nurses based on nurse availability.
Responsibilities
- Support school health services alongside the school nurse.
Daily, 30% - Promote student wellness.
Daily, 15% - Engage in health promotion activities.
Daily, 5% - Integrate community oriented nursing and community based nursing to safely care for individuals, families, and populations in the community.
