    Position Summary
    Reporting to the Sr. Director of Advancement Communications and Stewardship, the Stewardship Associate is an integral part of implementing and administering a comprehensive, centralized program that is designed to ensure that donors are properly stewarded and informed including engagement, recognition, and reporting on the use and impact of their annual and endowed funds. Donor relations cultivates long-term loyalty and commitment of donors while ensuring Bryant fulfills its fiduciary and stewardship responsibilities.

    Principal Accountabilities
    • Manage recurring stewardship activities including acknowledgement of first-time donors, gifts made in honor or memory of individuals, and the fulfillment of Bryant Leadership Council/Society benefits of membership; monitor and train development coordinators on stewardship correspondence development and distribution; working with the advancement content developer/writer, refresh stewardship letters and materials semiannually.
    • Prepare and distribute annual and endowed scholarship reports using written correspondence, video capture and distribution, and other innovative ways to engage donors in the life of scholarship students and the impact of scholarship gifts.
    • Working with the manager of alumni and parent digital engagement, prepare social media posts to promote scholarship support and partner with the manager of alumni and parent digital engagement on scheduling and engagement tracking.
    • Design and deliver an annual Attitude of Gratitude event to capture student data, video and thank you notes to donors. Conduct necessary follow-up to ensure that data is collected from students for reports that will be distributed by prospect managers. Create a tracking system and other tools to ensure timely development and distribution of reports.
    • Manage details for fall and spring scholar/donor events working in collaboration with event planners within the division and other key stakeholders in the university community.
    • Advise on Athletics stewardship activities; develop athletics stewardship plans in collaboration with the athletics PMs.
    • Create and implement a faculty/staff stewardship program for recurring and 1x gifts. Report to donors at calendar year end on gifts made through payroll deduction to steward faculty/staff donors.
    • Work with the Senior Director of Advancement Communications and Stewardship and advancement services team to design and launch the stewardship communications module in the CRM.
    • Recruit and manage students for departmental projects, speaking engagements, and other projects as needed.
    • Spearhead the design and ordering of pledge reminders, receipts, stewardship cards and other projects as needed.
    • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


    Qualifications
    Minimum five years of experience in building rapport and establishing cooperative working relationships with colleagues and external partners. Experience working directly with constituents at all levels within the organization. The desire and willingness to work collaboratively in a team-based environment is imperative. Experience in data maintenance, analysis, and reporting with increasing levels of responsibility. Experience must include the ability to create accurate and professional documents for internal and external stakeholders. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
    Some nights and weekends may be required to staff University Advancement events.
