    Description


    The Applied Companies is hiring a Temporary Group Benefits Coordinator for a small insurance office providing full support to multiple Financial Advisors ensuring client satisfaction through direct contact with clients, vendors, and other employees, while adhering to HIPAA standards.

    Position Description


    Knowledge of Insurance a plus – Our office represents medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance carriers in the group benefits arena.

    Assisting clients – Clients frequently contact our office to discuss claims issues and policy questions.

    Assisting our Agents – Obtaining and organizing the insurance related information for our agents to present to our clients.


    Preparing comparison carrier spreadsheets – In order to make sure our clients receive the best coverage at the best rates, we compare rates and benefits from different carriers into a spreadsheet that is easily understood by our clients and prospective clients.

    Processing enrollment paperwork – Reviewing and submitting the necessary employer, employee applications and paperwork to various carriers we represent.

    Insurance carrier correspondence – Ability to work with the different carriers to request information regarding their benefits.

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with special attention to Excel for spreadsheet purposes. Also, Internet for Web Based items.

    Office Hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Thursday and 8:00 am to 3:00 pm on Fridays. This job is a full-time position (38 Hrs Per Week) and with the ability to become a permanent placement.
