    Position Overview

    The Contractor shall serve as the Berm Manager for the World Shooting & Recreation Center (WSRC) to organize, plan, execute, control and evaluate pistol/rifle shooting programs (Berm) daily shooting activities; develops and implements program policies and procedures to assure the safety and entertainment of shooters; establishes long term programmatic goals and objectives; develops and reviews public evaluations of shooting activities to ensure activity content and quality; reviews operations and implements changes to improve efficiency and attendance. Implements and strictly enforces all rules and shooter safety regulations. The Contractor will perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.

    Essential Functions

    1. Organize, plan, execute, control, and evaluate all activities of the pistol/rifle (Berm) shooting programs.
    2. Develop and implement program policies and procedures for the Berm to ensure all safety and entertainment of shooters.
    3. Establish long term programmatic goals and objectives, in conjunction with the WSRC Director.
    4. Develops and review public evaluations of shooting activities/events to ensure content and quality of the Berm.
    5. Reviews operations and implements changes to improve efficiency and attendance.
    6. Implements and strictly enforces all rules and shooter safety regulations.
    7. Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to four years of college.

    Preferred Qualifications

    1. Prefers at least one (1) year of planning and participation in pistol/rifle shooting events or similar events.
    2. Prefers knowledge of USPSA, IDPA, GSSF rules and regulations along with firearms safety.
    3. Prefers experience in repair of small machinery.
    4. Prefers ability to operate agricultural, industrial equipment such as tractor, UTV, forklift, etc.
    5. Prefers experience in carpentry and metal fabrication.
    6. Prefers experience in supervisory responsibilities over a team of staff.

    1. Must be a minimum of 17 years old;
    2. Possession of a valid Drivers License;
    3. Requires ability to lift, carry, and transport loads up to 50 pounds.
    4. Requires physical condition and ability to perform position responsibilities;
    5. Requires ability to work weekends, and some nights or holidays for events;
    6. Requires ability to alter work schedule to meet the needs of the WSRC with occasional long shifts up to 9-10 hours;
    7. Ability to pass background check;
    8. Requires ability to legally be around firearms.
