    Penrose Physical Therapy is seeking an upbeat, detail-oriented, organized, and fun individual to join our client service team.

    We are a fast paced outpatient physical therapy clinic in Lacey, WA that is experiencing rapid growth. We won 1st place for Best of South Sound Physical Therapy Clinic in 2023. We have an amazing team. We believe in education, and provide training, teaching, and coaching. You will work with a diverse and talented team that cares deeply for our patients and community.

    Skills Needed:
    • Ability to make people feel comfortable on the phone and in person by maintaining meaningful conversation

    • Scheduling patients using an electronic medical record system, minimizing no shows/cancels, handle payments, preparing deposits, credentialing providers (please be able to give us examples of how you have done these tasks)

    • Bring excitement and positive energy to the office where others truly enjoy being in our reception area and you make them feel at home

    • Strong phone skills with ability to sense on the phone what people truly need and get them talking about their goals and how their problem is affecting their life

    • Ability to use computer systems, EMR, and online platforms effectively

    • Ability to coordinate schedules and keep providers schedules full

    • Ability to handle collecting money and keeping AR very clean with patient payments

    Skills Desired:
    • Experience in a high-volume medical clinic or service industry

    • Background in sales and/or call center strongly preferred

    • Background in excellent and frequent communication to team members and clients preferred

    • Medical Billing experience helpful

    • Medical/Dental office experience strongly preferred

    • Experience with medical insurance and understanding how to verify benefits/authorization processing strongly preferred

    Office hours are 7:00 am - 7:00 pm Monday through Friday so being available during those times is a must. No weekends. We also need flexibility if others are out of the office to cover. This position would primarily be 9am-6pm.

    Responsibilities
    • Greet customers as they arrive and provide an excellent customer experience that they look forward to coming

    • Answer phone calls and schedule appointments and work at filling the schedule as soon as there is a cancel

    • Call any leads that are interested in help with getting better and cultivate a relationship with them to book a free consult or evaluation

    • Maintain a full schedule by calling or texting the wait list, call lead lists

    • Maintain a clean and inviting environment

    • Provide general customer service and attend to the needs of customers throughout their services


    Qualifications
    • Two or more years of experience as a receptionist or a similar role is preferred

    • Excellent communication skills with a commitment to customer service & sales

    • Strong work ethic and positive attitude

    • Strong Attention to detail

    • Familiar with computers and scheduling software

    • Excellent multi-tasking skills
