    Description


    The Mid Atlantic Finance Associate position will assist the Mid Atlantic finance team with planning and executing a fundraising plan for major donors in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia.

    This position is based in Washington, DC. The Associate will manage regional scheduling, database management, and assist with donor prospecting and outreach as appropriate.

    The Associate will report to the Mid Atlantic Finance Director and assist the Mid Atlantic Deputy Finance Director on a daily basis.


    In this role you will:
    Manage a regional schedule and trip calendar for meetings and events with internal and external principals;
    Write briefing materials for internal and external meetings;
    Develop meeting agendas;
    Update weekly reports;
    Facilitate vetting processes for donors, surrogates, and event venues;
    Manage regional donor databases and lists;
    Oversee regional call time and email blasts;
    Travel and staff surrogates at DNC meetings and events as needed;
    Support the Mid Atlantic Finance Director and Mid Atlantic Deputy with administrative and writing tasks;
    Coordinate with internal DNC departments on behalf of the regional teamAssist with donor prospecting, outreach, and maintenance as appropriate.

    What we are looking for:
    Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience;
    Previous committee, government, non-profit, or campaign experience; and,
    Previous experience using NGP is highly preferred.
