    We are looking for an experienced software engineer to join our Planning and Control team to work on Infrastructure, Architecture, and Tooling.

    In this role, you will develop infrastructure and tools that enable rapid algorithm development.


    What you'll be doing:
    Develop tools that enable rapid debugging, testing, and evaluation of Autonomous Planning and Control software.
    Find ways to increase overall team velocity through improvements in the development, testing, evaluation, and release infrastructure and processes.
    Design, build, and maintain efficient and reliable data infrastructure for algorithm training, testing, and evaluation.
    Most importantly, develop groundbreaking, meaningful technology, solve difficult problems, and help build a world-class autonomous system

    What we need to see:
    BS, MS, or PhD or equivalent experience in engineering, computer science or similar fields.
    3+ years of relevant work experience.
    Proficient in Python and associated libraries.
    Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a large team and drive consensus.
    Experience with modern data processing pipelines and technologies (i.e. Hadoop, Spark, Airflow).
    Familiarity with Git and Linux based development environment
    Ways to stand out from the crowd:

    Background with working in a large monorepo and with Bazel.
    Experience working on tools for developer productivity, including tools for testing and CI/CD.
    Experience working in Autonomous Vehicle testing, evaluation, and data engineering.
    Experience developing tools for AV (e.g., tools for test creation, visualization).

    The base salary range is $144,000 - $270,250. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
